George Hanan Donegal Railway Museum fridge magnet (NEW)




Donegal Railway Heritage Museum is delighted to announce that it has commissioned a new fridge magnet using the artwork of one of Ireland’s best-known railway artists and modellers, George Hanan, of a painting of a Donegal steam engine near Barnesmore Gap, Donegal.

The museum, through a kind donation by the Hyland family a number of years ago have a large collection of his paintings; we also have a number of his famous models which he donated himself.

The George Hanan Donegal Railway Museum branded magnet which is exclusive to the museum is made of resin, measuring 6cm x 7.5cm, with a beautiful 3D (raised) scene of Drumboe, our Donegal Steam engine with Barnesmore Gap in the background and Lough Mourne to the left.

The magnet is just €4 to purchase directly at the museum, or €7 including postage within Ireland and the UK. All proceeds go towards the running of your favourite railway museum!
