The little green signal box was rescued from Londonderry & Lough Swilly Railway (L&LSR) Newtown Cunningham station in the late 1990s after it had stood on the platform since the closure of the station in 1953. It has been restored and the outside painted in Swilly Green. It is typical of the single storey signal boxes of the L&LSR. It has recently been converted for use as a disabled toilet and is located at the end of the wheelchair ramp also leading to Trailer 5.
