One of Donegal’s favourite annual family Halloween events returns again this year with Donegal’s Railway Centre’s famous Halloween Fun Day on Saturday 30th October, 12noon-6:30pm
Come and check out our Spooky event which includes a kiddie’s ride-on Train, Halloween family activities, Model Railways, Fancy Dress Competition and much more. Ideal for young children! As our museum is said to be haunted, you might even catch a glimpse of our resident ghost!

Donegal Railway Heritage Centre

Donegal Railway Heritage Centre is a registered charity and has been operating for over 25 years. The community museum is an important part of the visitor offer in the town and County, as well as creating employment for local people. Our remit is to keep the history and heritage of the County Donegal Railways alive through the running of the Museum, and the rescuing, restoration and showcasing of unique rolling stock and traction.
