Description

Donegal Railway Heritage Centre is delighted to announce the publication of a new railway book, titled “The County Donegal Remembered”, by Jim McBride. Jim has been involved with railway heritage and preservation for decades, and is the Irish Editor of the “Disused Stations”. The book is available now and demand is expected to be high.

This new book on the County Donegal Railway is being published at the end of June 2022 by the Donegal Railway Heritage Centre. This bumper 136-page paperback publication is a collection of 50 colour and 200 black/white photos, the vast majority of which have not been published in book form before. The railways which once operated across Donegal were unique, and we are delighted to be offering new material celebrating this important part of Donegal’s heritage. This book is published locally, with all profits going towards railway preservation in County Donegal. This is another welcome addition to the Donegal Railway archive and is a must-have for anyone interested in our local heritage and in the County Donegal Railways.

The County Donegal Remembered will be available through this website, at our museum directly, and at various bookshops across the North West in the next few weeks.

The new book is just €20 + Postage €4 = €24
