It has just been announced by Santa’s elves at Donegal Railway Heritage Museum, that as kids (and big kids) this year may not be able to visit Santa in the usual way, then he can come straight to them! Lots of families visited our Santa experience last year which nearly crashed the web, as one of the most unique and magical Santa experiences in the North West! This year, our elves have come up with an innovative solution during these challenging times, even for Santa, where kids and adults can still hear directly from the main man himself.
Instead of coming to Santa’s workshop, all you need to do is contact Santa’s Elves between 10am-4pm each weekday, Mon-Fri, until Friday 18th on Tel: +00353 (074) 9722655. When you ring, one of his elves will take your child’s details including name, age, favourite pet, what they are wanting for Christmas, etc., as well as make a small donation towards our charity (registered Charity No 20052225) in this challenging year. Santa has said that he can also send special messages to organisations too and in fact anyone who wants to hear from him, in order to spread his Christmas cheer during these unusual times.
Anyone at all can contact the Elves and request a message, so if you are a Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister, an Aunty, Uncle, Granny or Grandad or a friend, work colleague or even an organisation, as long as you have an email address or a WhatsApp App, Santa can send you a personalised, unique, and magical message. Santa and Mrs Claus will record a personalised video from his workshop which will include all the information that has been given earlier, and using our express Santa communication device (email or WhatsApp App), you will be sent your unique message from the big man himself before he arrives on Christmas Eve! Santa hopes to be back to meeting directly all the good boys and girls next year, in his favourite Donegal location, which of course will also have a big shiny Polar Express steam engine, (Drumboe) parked outside!
As an extra special treat this year, Santa and his elves are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with Donegal Service Station (Supermacs) as an extra treat you have the option of adding on a child’s meal that you can collect any time during December from Supermacs Donegal Town. Santa will tell the child about this special extra treat in his video message. Can’t avail of our Supermac’s Treat, don’t worry maybe you’ll want to continue the Festive Fun by joining us on Monday 21st for our Facebook live Christmas Raffle which includes a €100 Railway Hamper, and lots of other great prizes. Tickets are just €5 each.
Your Support has never been more appreciated than now; 2020 has been a difficult year for many, including ourselves. Here at the Railway Centre where Santa’s workshop is based, we support 9 local jobs, and do our bit for the local economy, working tirelessly to support our community far and wide and celebrate Donegal’s great Railway Heritage. So we would like to send you all a heartfelt Merry Christmas and a great BIG Thank you for supporting your Local Registered Charity.
Merry Christmas Santa and his Elves xx
