Cruinniú na nÓg – Write on Track!

Join Grainne McCool from The Write Stuff Kids Club for a morning of words and creativity where you will create various forms of poetic verse about all our communities and explore how we feel about them.

Each session will also explore the wonderful surroundings of a railway carriage in which the workshops take place. Imagine the people who have travelled in this carriage in years gone by and write about what you imagine them doing and where they were going.

If you’re a writing buff and fancy a bit of craic in a carriage, this workshop is for you.

To Book, email thewritestuff0@gmail.com

There will be two sessions

Workshop 1: Ages 6-9 years 11am – 1pm

Workshop 1: Ages 10 years + 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Donegal Railway Heritage Centre

Donegal Railway Heritage Centre is a registered charity and has been operating for over 25 years. The community museum is an important part of the visitor offer in the town and County, as well as creating employment for local people. Our remit is to keep the history and heritage of the County Donegal Railways alive through the running of the Museum, and the rescuing, restoration and showcasing of unique rolling stock and traction.
